You have to add this client computers to the domain
For WIndows NT download and install on clients DS Client:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/server/evaluation/news/bulletins/adextension.asp

Windows XP is "Active Directory" ready - so just imply go to the Control
Pnale, click System applet and on the Network identification tab add
this Windows XP box to the domain.

Remember, on the windows XP and Windows 2000 boxes which will be added
to the domain the DNS Server setting in the TCP/IP properties has to be
set to point Your DC

Windows XP Professional has built-in directory services client -
everything You need is to add it to the domain

Windows XP Home Edition can not be domain client

NT clients will join and operate in a Domain just fine without the
client. Maybe some features may not be available - GPOs for example.

Cheers.
