Win Management Instrumentation Sys

Hello,
My Windows Management Instrumentation System is stopped.
How can I get it running? I went to Kelly's Korner but
I have had trouble carrying out some of the steps, such as
after getting the cmd prompt, I typed
in "winmgmt /clearadap, winmgmt /kill etc. but nothing
happens. Help or reference to more information is needed.

Right-click on My Computer, click Manage, Click Services
and Applications, click Services, (adjust window size and
columns if necessary) scroll down to Windows
Instrumentation Management, right click on it, go to
Properties, set it to Automatic, click Apply, then OK and
close the Computer Management console.
