On closing Win Explorer I am getting the msg: The instructions at
"0x016ffb80" referenced memory at "0x0115f248". The memory could not be
"read". Click OK to terminate the program.
Apart from this message Win Exp seems to work OK. What does it mean and how
should I repair it pease?

I'm getting the same problem. the instruction at 0x7c9105F8 referenced memory
at 0x01740010. The memory can't be read. Like Christopher everything seems to
work after I push ok. It's an annoying pop up. Can you help?

Be sure your antivirus is up to date and used. You can get antivirus AVG 7
Free from grisoft.com. Don't have running more than one antivirus utility at
a time, it might destabilize your system. Also install & update, and then
use them in Safe Mode: AdawareSE and Spybot Search & Destroy. You can get
them both at download.com.

You could use what you find here:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

This could be a security hazard, but you could try disabling DEP. Info is
within this document:
