win does not remember my web passwords

Hi,

I have tried many settings and still my Win XP Proff does not want to
remember my username and password settings on websites. After installation
it was working, now it is not. Any ideas?

In IE, tools, Internet Options, content tab, AutoComplete button, tick "user names
and passwords on forms"

Not working. Also clearing old data does not work - old usernames are still
available.

Hi Kuba,

Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc
Scroll down to Protected Storage and verify that the service is started.
