WIN DEFENDER IGNORES

WHY IS IT THAT DEFENDER ALWAYS DETECTS THE SAME
THINGS EVERYTIME EVEN IF YOU SELECT "IGNORE" ?

I HAVE A PROGRAM WHICH I WANT IT TO IGNORE AND NOT DETECT
AND IT ALWAYS DETECTS IT AT EVERY SCAN EVEN WHEN SELECTED
AS "IGNORE" ON PREVIOUS SCANS.

PROGRAM IS NOT BAD, IT'S A PROGRAMA THAT CONNECTS ME TO
MY SCHOOL SO I CAN TAKE ONLINE CLASSES

I presume by your question you are speaking of the allowed items ? for
reasons not yet clear defnder doesn't appear to allow perminantly , nor add
an item to be allowed, thus asks the same question every session. However
if you go to the tools section...general settings ..scroll down to the "Do
not scan the following files or paths ..and add the offending item to the
don't scan ! it seems to fonction ok, it will not then show up in the allowed
section ! but at least you arn't forever having to allow every session !

Ignore is ignore it during this scan. Please choose Always Allow instead. it
will appear next time, but the option will be automatically set to Allow.
