Win 98 critical update page

Hello there I have been looking for the newsgroup and I cannot seem to find my problem I went to
update but the download box freezes the error comes up something like
AppName;iexplore.exe AppVer;6.02800.1106 ModName;rpcrt4.dll ModVer;4.71.3328.0 Offset;

then nothing happens at all the browser closes and I am back to square 1 . using Win98se
please help I am going nuts here ..lol..
