Win 32 Trojan Worm

I am new to computer and see that I have the Win32 Trojan worm. I downloated Avasti and Ad-aware. Ad-aware is telling me that I n0w have 18 files affedted. It gives me the option to quarantine which I did but I then did another scan and it is still showing this. Please help. I am ready to toss this Windows XP Home computer

Lillie. I think you also have to tell Ad-Aware it is ok to delete the
quarantine or it will keep showing up in the scans. Dingo.
