please help.for some reason nearly every page i try to open i get a pop up
box saying run time error 5 invalid procedure call or argument.i have to
click ok and it opens the page for me.but this has just started doing it,even
on booking a holiday i wanted to open the date box and it did it on that,ive
tried system restore but that did not work.is there anyone out there who has
had and corrected this or anyone who knows how to stop it.
 
Open Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Advanced tab |
CHECK: Disable script debugging | UNCheck: Display a notification
about every script error | Click Apply | Click OK

On XPSP2 also check: Disable script debugging other

Disable script debugging
[Specifies whether you want to turn off your script debugger, if one is
installed. Script debuggers are used by Web site developers to test programs
and scripts on their Web pages.]

Display a notification about every script error
[Specifies whether to display the actual script errors when a page does not
appear properly due to problems with its scripting. This feature is off by
default, but is useful to developers when testing Web pages.]

no it has not stopped it.the boxes saying disable script debugging/disable
script debugging other were already ticked.and the box saying display a
notification about every script error is not ticked.is that how it should
be.if so it has not stopped it,please help
