Win 2k Systems property box

When the systems properties box pops up under my computer
and it shows who the computer is registered to, how do you
change this.
I purchase a used computer from a freind and want to show
my name as ths registered owner.
 
Not really AD related, but I believe the attributes can be found under this
key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserD
ata\S-1-5-18\Products\0B79C053C7D38EE4AB9A00CB3B5D2472\InstallProperties

If 0B79C053C7D38EE4AB9A00CB3B5D2472 is a unique number, navigate to the key
above and search for the name with whom it is currently registered.
