win 2000 PRO incomming connection cant set the route

hello
I am using incoming connections of win2000 pro
user success to dial-in. PPP ok! IP setting is also ok
i wanna my win 2000 to access the attach network of the incoming user

well, network plan is like thi
incoming user's network is
10.233.1.0 , mask 255.255.255.

ppp setting the client's ip is 10.233.2.125, server's ip is 10.233.2.12

after connect, i try to type
' route add 10.233.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 10.233.2.126'. but i failed. always get this repor
'The route addition failed: The parameter is incorrect.' dont understand wh

pls help me

Hello,

"route add 10.233.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0 10.233.2.126"

Here the gateway which you are trying to add i.e. "10.233.2.126", is on a
different network than "10.233.1.0".
The gateway should have some address like "10.233.1.X".
