Will reformating my C: drive affect or erase my D: drive?

I haev allot of adware/ and spyware junk on my PC, and
can't get rid of any of it. I want to reformat and
reinstall windows. well my question is if I reformat m C
drive will it erase my D drive? so i can just put every
thing i want to keep on my D drive, instaed of wasting
many cd's, or using zip disks.
please help thank you.
 
Yes, this will do what you want. However, have you tried AVG 6.0 and Spybot
S&D yet?
