Will outlook automatically send a pre-written email ?

I am trying to determine if I could set up an automatic email to remind staff
of a regularly scheduled meeting. I would like the message to be sent
automatically on the first of each month.

Are you connecting to an Exchange server? If so, why not just schedule a
recurring meeting and have them accept it? It would send them a reminder each
time.
Is there a reason you prefer an email to a meeting request using the
calendar?
