will outlook 2007 work with office 2003 ?

I'm using microsoft office standard 2003. I just found issues with outlook
not able to add holidays beyond the year 2007. I checked the microsoft site &
found this issue. Before downloading the update to fix it I found that the
software I have is not valid. Can I install outlook 2007 to correct this
problem & still run my office 2003?

Sure, but it sounds like an expensive solution to solve that issue unless
you were already planning to upgrade.
