will not boot

G

Gerry

Recently, I was having some llock-up problems while doing
some routine surfing on IE. I had to end the task twice
to close IE. I decided to do a reboot of my system to
clean up any glitches.
Upon re-booting, my system stopped dead right after the
Windows XP splash screen. Several attempts proved
fruitless. I can boot up just fine in safe mode, but I
hav no idea what could be going wrong so early in the boot-
up process.
Any suggestions?

Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Start disabling startup processes until you isolate the one causing the
hang. As you can boot to Safe mode, you can use the steps outlined in these
