No. The fines are for practices going back up to 4 years (I think),
not for anything current. If anything, they'll up the prices to make
up for their losses. I also expect a jump when Vista debuts (not for a
while though).

The prices go up and down regularly like oil, usually with some excuse like
shortage, earthquakes etc

Forget about this issue, it is not applicable to memory
pricing because the more significant detail is lack of buyer
interest in chips at current prices, more chip manufacturing
capacity and manufacturing of higher density chips.

The prices will, as always, fluctuate +-10% with any few
weeks time but overall the prices are projected to continue
to drop slowly over the next year at least... with no regard
at all for the price fixing.
