Just wondering, things seem very quiet right now.
But a microsoft employee promised me it would be released this year.

OEM
you can get it in 2006. If you want the retail upgrade package you will
have
to wait until January, 2007. If that's you, my sincere "Awwww - life
sucks,
doesn't it?". But gird yourself some courage, the extra month or two will
arrive soon enough and you will be enjoying Vista to no end. In the
meantime, Microsoft Windows XP is an exciting computing platform with lots
to learn and do.

What is the big deal ?
Seriously.
What about it makes it better ?
Will Vista run faster than XP on identical hardware ?
Will it run programs faster ?
Other than enhanced security what could possibly be so attractive about
Vista ?
