will i be able to pull up lost microsoft word

i lost information typed on word when computer automatic shut down will i be
able to pull that information back up
 
If you hadn't saved the document then there is nothing to recover.
Don't allow updates to be installed automatically (set the option to ask
before installing) - and don't leave unsaved documents unattended and you
won't have the problem again.
