What is WildTangent? Is it Adware/spyware? It is in my
Sartup in msconfig. If so, how do i remove it?

In startup it shows as follows:

Startup Item=cdaengine0400

Command=Rundll32.exe "C:\program
files\wildtangent\apps\cdaengine0400.dll,cdaengineMain

Does this make sense to anyone? Can you help me?

Yes, it's one of those, spyware, I think. Anyway, download and install,
Ad-Aware, Spy Bot S&D, And Spyware Blaster. They are both for removal and
to stop it, and hosts of others from infecting your pc.

Wild Tangent is an online game company that bundles
adware with their games. Did you download a freeware game
demo or buy a game from them? Check your menu bar near
the timeclock for a "W"-like icon; that's their "game
channel", which also pops up little ads about their
products. You should find the program in question by
going to your control panel and opening up "add or remove
programs"; you can remove it from there if you wish.

Wild Tangent has been known to distribute spyware however it's being
installed by some purchased PC games (CD or DVD). It is required to
participate in online gaming for some game titles. If you find that this is
why it's installed on your computer, do not suggest removing it. Instead,
keep an eye on it to be sure it doesn't add anything else than what is
needed for the installed game.
