I have been using Access 2003 for about 2 months now. Access has been working
fine until now......
My Problem
When I create a query, I add the table that I want to query against and then
I pull one field from the table and do not set a criteria for it. When I run
the query, it shows me all fields and records..but wait I did not choose the
Asterisk so that all fields would show...I only chose one field. So then I
try to total the one field that I pulled down and I get an error that you can
not total the asterisk "*" field.....soo it looks like that the Access
program is somehow programming itself to add this field even though it is not
actually being defined in the query to do so. I have tried repairing,
reinstalling it, etc....and the problem just will not go away......Does
anyone out there have a fix for this???
Thanks!
