Wierd Issue, can't deselect anything in Excel

Running Excel 2002 on Windows XP and have this wierd issue. Whenever I open
Excel directly or by opening an Excel file, once I click anywhere in that
spreadsheet, the cursor acts like the left mouse button is stuck down and
will only select objects. No matter what key combination I press, or what
mouse buttons are pushed it will not deselect and act normal. The only way
to get out is to CTRL-ALT-DEL and end the task. Nothing new has been
installed and everything works fine outside of Excel. Any ideas?

Bill,

There's an object selection tool close to the left side of the Drawing
toolbar that might be on. It looks like an arrow. When it's on, you can
only select graphics, not cells.
