Wierd Icon

Almost daily, on my Sony Vaio PC, I get a desk top icon
with a title " ~ ". It will not open, I don't know where
it comes from and Sony did not respond to my Inet question
to them about it. "Properties" list tells me it is an
archive read-only file but there is no file name
extention. I delete it every time I see it and almost
every day it's back again. ~ Can you tell me what this
is?

~, the tilde is a copy of your Address Book do to a bug in one of the recent Windows Updates. It
gets created every time you make a change to the AB. Delete or ignore it.
