widget activity mess up screen saver?

Does the activity on widgets, e.g. the clock, cpu usage, etc., keep the
monitor from going into screen saver mode?

You mean the Sidebar with gadgets?
Does not interfere with the screensaver here.
 
Tom, are you talking about Yahoo widgets? I use them with my Vista and they
don't interfere with my screensavers. I use the weather and post-its. I
like it much better than Vista's "sidebar".
