screen saver not working

I am using RC1. I set my screen saver on Aurora and to wait only 1 minute
before activating the screen saver. After 4-5 minutes, the screen saver still
hasn't replaced my desktop. Suggestions?

You need to identify the active process that is blocking the screen saver.
The screen saver will not activate if some programs or processes are
running.

have you a microsoft laser mouse?
plug off and test. i have the same problem but without mouse it work fine

I also have the same problem.
On a previous post someone related the problem to the MS wireless laser
mouse, which I happen to have.
Haven't seen any workaround yet.

It was indeed the MS wireless laser mouse. Un-pluged the USB antenna/reciever
piece and it went into screen saver as it should. Thanks for the help!!!
