Why would an imported picture cause Powerpoint to lock up?

I imported home pictures from i-tech, a real estate MLS service. Every time I
Rehearse my Slide Show, Powerpoint locks up.

Although it is easy to get here by mistake from the online user interface
"discussions.microsoft.com", this newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft Access
database software. You need to locate a newsgroup dedicated to PowerPoint.
And, you'll need to provide a few more details -- like version of
PowerPoint, image file type of the pictures, size of the image files, etc.

I have no idea. I (and the other folks who post here) know about
Microsoft Access, the subject of this newsgroup; I've used Powerpoint
a couple of times <g>

Please scroll down the list of newsgroups and find the
microsoft.office.powerpoint newsgroup and ask your question there.
