Why won't my button 'insert background sound' to webpage work

I created a website in Word. Now I want to add background music to each page.
When I click on the 'insert sound' button on the toolbar, I get the message
'This object was created in HTMLinlinesoundctl. This application is not
available to open this object. Make sure it is installed properly or has not
been deleted, removed or renamed'.??????
Can someone please help, its doing my head in!!

This is a bug introduced by Windows XP SP2. MS is working on it.
