Why wont images appear???

Hi, I was wondering why in some cases (emails,XP Help and Pics in corel ) that all I get is a blank screen with a smaller box with a red "X" in it , where an image should be. Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks

See if this Clears your problem.

Empty your Temporary Internet Files cache
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, click Delete Files.
