Why when I type the 2 key (with shift) do I get @ instead of "?

Can anyone help with this problem. The @ symbol and " seem to be reversed on
the keyboar

Your Windows keyboard layout is set to US instead of UK.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Keyboard > Input Locales and select
the correct language.
