Why, when I install a program does it go onto all of the rest of my users accounts

Hi, Whenever I install a program or one of my family does it goes onto everyone's desktops and how do I stop it???
I am 13 so could you (if possible) explain it simply! ****THANKS****

If you have different user accounts set up, the desktop shortcut should
only appear on the desktop of the person that's logged in as the user. But,
the program will be accessible to all users, should they choose to run it.
 
hi im no expert dude but someone two or three below you seems to have a sim problem(multiple fam users
so it may be that your files arte in your shared file . yours dopey
