Why only saving as bitmaps?

Anytime I click on a pic on the net it wants to save it as
a bitmap instead of a jpeg-this only started to happen
recently. Any ideas?

I belive this is a bug that happens when your Internet Explorer cache
becomes full. Try clearing the cache

Tools | Internet Options | Temporary Internet Files | Delete Files

Basically, you need to clean up your temporary Internet files.
