Why isn't the tab key working properly in Excel

When using Excel 2002, usually pressing the tab key moves to the next cell on
the right, but now it is moving to the right a whole page each time I press
it. Any easy solutions?

Tools, options, transition tab, uncheck transition navigation keys.

I just had this issue where the TAB key was not doing anything in Outlook or Excel. By tapping the ALT key twice, the issue was resolved.
