why is word 2003 slow

My word 2003 is slow. reminds me of old slow computers. The curser is slow
and I find myself waiting for it.
 
Either the graphics or printer drivers need updating. Check with the support
site for the vendors of your hardware and see if there are newer drivers to
download and install.
