Why is Switch User disabled for domain accounts?

Does anyone know why the 'Switch User' functionality is disabled when
logging into a domain. Or, is there a work-around? I can't see why
switching a user would be a security risk because there is no way to
cut/paste between sessions. Each session behaves like a virtual machine
from what I could see.

I have an account I use for work, and one I use for personal. (I'm a
consultant that must manage multiple accounts.)

Any ideas?

No work around - it was designed this way on purpose for "Security" reasons.
It has nothing to do with something as simple as "cut/paste", is has to do
with Domain Security and Access, and network drive/printer mapping.

What happens when your domain has say 20 users....

The FUS interface doesn't work well with that.

Now, what happens when your domain has 200 users...

In a business environment, you probably also don't want to expose all your
usernames..

There's probably more reasons, but those are just ones off the top of my
head.

That being said, it would be nice to have some FUS-like function for
computers joined onto a domain.
