Why is startup program canceled after loading?

Howard

On many bootups, though not all, a clipboard type program that I've
installed and used from Windows Me is removed automatically from
the startup taskbar and has to be restarted from the Desktop icon
shortcut. My hunch is that it's bumped by Zone alarm, NAV, or
Automatic live update window events.

The program runs and works just fine after restarting but would
appreciate some insight and possible remedy to prevent the need for
restarting the program.

TIA
Howard

.
Look in: Start/Run/type MSCONFIG / OK / startup tab
see if your program is listed and checked / if not check
it / Apply / OK / reboot

Thanks Jake ... I made sure of that before posting and found it was
checked. If you think of another possibility, would appreciate a
shout.
