Outlook Express has been excellent with me until this weekend. For some
reason, it will receive but not send emails when I press the send/recieve
button. I try deleting my account and adding it back, but that did not work.
Can someone please help me out. Thanks.

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Isn't that what this is Brian?
And I'm having the same problem. I can recieve fine but everytime I try to
send email I get:

The server does not support the required HTTP methods. Account: 'Hotmail',
Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol:
HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Method Not Allowed', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800CCC35

Never had a problem before till now.
Anyone have any ideas?

I *think* Microsoft may have stopped allowing use of Outlook (or other
pop/SMTP client) as an email sender for their FREE hotmail service. Now, the
free service only allows web based access.

The "premium" hotmail service does allow use of Outlook.

If you pay the (fairly small) annual subscription for the premium service,
your Outlook will probably start working again (this is what I found).

Go to www.hotmail.com for details of upgrading to premium.

Sophie.

Nope. This group is for Microsoft Office Outlook, which is a completely
different application. Outlook is part of the Office suite and Outlook
Express is part of Internet Explorer.
And I'm having the same problem. I can recieve fine but everytime I
try to send email I get:

Hotmail no longer supports access via Outlook or Outlook Express to its free
accounts.

Actaully, if someone can respond, I'd appreciate it because I am using
Outlook and gettign a very similar error message:
! Task 'Sending' report error (0x800CCC35) : 'The server cannot process the
request. You may not have cookies enabled for your e-mail server's domain.
To enable cookies, check your browser's privacy settings. The server
responded 'Method Not Allowed'. '

Please help.

I hope the MS isn't forcing people to buy a service to use Outlook or OE. I
upgraded to latest office version just to be able to use Outlook to manage my
various hotmail accounts. G-mail is looking better if that's the case.
