Why is my Outlook Express not responding?

About a month ago I received an email from a family member, since then my
Outlook Express inbox locks up and does not respond to any input.

I believe that this for XP. I could get better information, but I cannot
get to the Help menu.

what version of OE are you using? Update it to the latest version. I found
this on the web:

Give it a shot. You never know, it might work.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
