Outlook Express 2007 Calendar Has Stopped Responding

Gerrard

If I attempt to view the calendar for any date in this current month
(September 09) or in the future I get a message that Outlook Express has
stopped responding and I have to close the application. However, I can view
earlier months e.g. July and August 09 and I can view one day at a time in
ealier months. Email works fine. I am not given an option to 'Report the
problem to Microsoft' which I normally get when a programme stops responding.
I am using VISTA
Can anyone tell me what has gone wrong?

There is no such thing as Outlook EXPRESS 2007.
Do you mean Outlook 2007?

First, reset the view. See http://outlook-tips.net/beginner/resetview.htm -
the second method should be fine.
If this doesn't help, switch to the All Appointments view (View menu) and
sort by date. Make a new folder (right click on the calendar folder and
choose new). Move all of the upcoming appointments to the new folder. See if
the Calendar folder works ok with the Day/Week/Month view (can check the new
folder too). If so, move appointments back a few at a time.

I think you're on to something, Gordy. Stay with that line of
thought.

If you'd been here for more than 5 minutes, you would know well that the two
quite often get confused.

Thank you very much, all I needed to do was reset the view and it worked
straight away.

Many Thanks
