Outlook stops responding

Hi all,
After about 2 min of using outlook it starts getting slow to open and close
things then it stops responding altogether, it tries to look for a problem
but never finds anything. Have done the repair procedure and scanned for
viruses and adware, program was fine for about 3 months till this started
happening whether i have downloaded an update that has a conflict with it i
dont know.
Any kind of input would be greatly appreciated, on verge of chucking this
thing out the window.

I am having similar problems. When I try to open any program from an email,
whether an attachment or a link to the web, the program locks up
