Why I cannot Add Records to my database on a network?

I have a local intranet made in Ms-Access, with Data Access Pages, When i
open this database from my local PC it works fine, but when it comes to
Access the contents from network it opens the pages in read only mode where i
am unable to alter anything. I have shared the database from options menu,
but still no use, please Help Me.

Have you checked the permissions on the directory to make sure everyone can
write to it as well as read?
