Why have Access wizards stopped working?

I have had to re-install Access from my Office 2000 professional cd, and now
the wizards as in 'Create table by using wizard' will not work when you click
on the link. The create wizard still works for a new database. I have tried
repair, and uninstall and re-install, but it still doesn't work. Any help,
please?
