Why French Dictionary in MS Word?

How can I fix Word so it doesn't look for the french dictionary when
checking spelling?

I get a message when spell checking which reads as follows:

"Word cannot find the grammar file msgrFR32.dll for French (France)."

I don't know where this came from because I'm in the US and never
changed to use french dictionary. Any ideals on how to fix and possibly
occurred? TIA!
