why duplicated email in outlook 2002? A stupid bug!

Hi all,

Everytime I receive email, outlook will download all
email copies left on the server once more. For example, I
have 100 messages left in inbox of the mail server, and I
click receive button for seven times(each click,close
outlook and reopen it), I will get 700 emails in local
folder. I even can't believe my eyes! What a stupid bug!


I installed OfficeXP(SP2) on windows server 2003. By the
way, outlook express works properly.

What is the most possible cause? How to handle it? If
someone ever experienced the same problem, let me share
your knowldege by email. Thanks a lot!
