why does XP home have a "terminal services" service?

I know that XP home does not have the remote desktop feature,
but I was looking at the list of services on a XP home machine
and noticed that it has a terminal services service!

Look at screenshot:
http://server3.uploadit.org/files/mijack-homeservices.jpg

Why? what is that? Can I somehow enable remote desktop on it?

Another service I saw is RDPSSW32.

what does that do?

thanks

In Windows XP Home Edition, the following services rely on the Terminal
Services service:
Remote Assistance
Fast User Switching

In Windows XP Professional, the following services rely on the Terminal
Services service:
Remote Assistance
Fast User Switching
Remote Desktop (single connection, console or remote)

In both Pro and Home you need to have the Terminal services service running
to see the Users tab in Task Manager and to see any names in the User Name
column.

RDPSSW32.exe may be spyware. It is *not* a Windows file.
