Why does Word 2003 continuously crash?

Word XP didn't have this problem. Word '03 is a dreadful program.

There must be something in your setup or system because Word 2003 is much
more stable than earlier versions according to my experience and reports on
these newsgroups. I would suggest looking at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm and going through
each of the steps there.

It doesn't continuously crash for most users. I have been using it since
2002 and can count the number of crashes on one hand (well, maybe both
hands).
