Why does the decimal move to the left on all numbers?

My Excel has always worked well. Today, any number that I type in a cell does
not read the way I enter it. When I hit enter, the number changes, in that
the decimal moves two places to the left. Even on old spreadsheets if I try
to type a new number in.
Help please.

tools ,options,edit,fixed decimal places, and de-select
