Why does outlook 2003 calendar display advance by 5 days?

Does anyone know why the weekly view in the Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007
Calendar advances by 5 days automatically? If I click in the day displayed on
the extreme right hand column, after a few seconds, that column moves to the
extreme left. What's happening there? This is driving us crazy.
