why does my session end?

Paul

after a certain length of inactivity (no mouse movement
or keystrokes) my computer seems to end my session, and
take me back to the logon screen with my username and
icon. it doesn't make me enter my password, but always
puts me back to that screen. is there any way that i can
turn that feature off, so that i can stay logged on and
not have to keep moving the mouse so that it won't log me
off like that?
 
Hi Paul,

Display settings/screensaver tab, uncheck "On resume, display Welcome
screen"

Go to Power Options/advanced tab, uncheck "prompt for password..."
