Why does my saved presentation change by itself, I don't change

Have a saved PP presentation. After playing it a few times, things change on
the slides without MY DOING ANYTHING to change it. Such as motion clips quit
showing motion, have to click more than once to change to next slide, even
presentation won't proceed to next slide no matter how many times I click.
Have PP 2003.
 
I have no idea what may be causing this issue, but you could do this:

1. Check the PowerPoint file to make sure it is not infected.

2. Try playing it on another system.

3. Run a virus check.
