Why does my MEMO field truncate my text?

How do I keep Access from truncating my MEMO fields in a data entry form?
When I save the data and then retrieve it for editing, it only brings back
255 characters and then a couple of boxes, along with some other adds and
ends. Sometimes a couple of kana, or the value of one of my control boxes,
etc.

Ouch, kana (almost always) means that there is corruption involved. If
possible try creating a new clean db import all the objects in there, compact
and repair and seeif the data still gets truncated.

Be sure that there's no Format property on the memo fields or on the form
controls bound to those fields, and that you're not sorting or grouping by the
memo field.
