Why does my email not send unless I restart my machine?

Lately I have had a problem with outlook sending my email. The only time it
sends my mail is when I reboot and re-open outlook. Once thats happens, my
mail sits in my outbox. I have my mail set to send and recieve every 5
minutes and everything worked fine until recently. Has anyone else
expeirenced this and does anyone have a solution.

5 minutes may be too burdensome for your server to respond to in a timely
fashion. Try upping the time to see if that resolves your problem.
