Why does it say my table is read only when I try to export?

I am trying to export a table and it says that my table is read only. I am
the administrator of the database. I did not open it in read only mode. It
is not in a shared drive that is restricted. I am able to change data in the
table and I can even delete the table. I am working in Access 2003.

I hate to beg, but I am begging...Any ideas on why it is saying that it is
read only?

That error message is related to the file to which you're trying to export
the table's data. It usually means there is a syntax error in the path/file
name for the file, or that you don't have read/write/create/delete/modify
privileges in the folder where the file is being created, or that the
path/filename for the file is too long (I believe the limit is 64
characters).

Tell us more details about how and what you're doing.
